WELCOME TO THE WAY BAPTIST CHURCH

Welcome to The Way Baptist Church.

Our weekly Sunday Services and Wednesday Night Bible Studies are recorded on Zoom and published on Youtube.  To view, just click on "Youtube" at the top right of our Home page.

Below is a brief description of our Principles, Plans and Procedures:

The Way Baptist Church was organized the first Sunday of January, 2013.

Terry Arnold was called as pastor. The congregation met at Multnomah University and Seminary campus in Reno. The congregation moved to rented property on Wedge Parkway in October 2014 and resided there until the end of October 2016. The first Sunday of November we started
meeting at the Claim Jumper Restaurant of Reno, where we met until Corporate closed its chain of restaurants in September 2022. Effective October 9, 2022, We now meet at Mimi's Bistro & Bakery in Reno at 5090 Kietzke Lane for 10:30AM Sunday Worship Services which is followed by a Fellowship Lunch.
The Way Baptist Church is local, independent, autonomous, pastor-led,
congregationally governed, conservative, evangelical, New Testament, Christian
church.
We believe in a regenerate membership.

Our motto is SEEK - SERVE - SHARE.

The mission and purpose of The Way Baptist Church is to seek the Kingdom of, serve
as disciples of, and share the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ.

The Way's core values are: Prayer, Discipleship, Fellowship, Worship, Ministry, and
Evangelism.
The congregation approved and adopted Bylaws in 2013 upon organization.

We are in cooperation, but not governed by the Southern Baptist Convention, The
Nevada Baptist Convention and the Sierra Baptist Association.

We agree with the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000 as our statement of faith.

We believe in and prayerfully and financially support evangelistic church planting
missions beginning here and extending nationwide and ultimately around the world
through contributions to the Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program, the
Nevada Baptist Contention, the Sierra Baptist Association, and designated local
mission efforts.
We have a congregationally approved budget that is reviewed and revised as needed.
